Barney Storey takes Gold at BT Paralympic World Cup

Paralympic Cyclist and Inspirational Speaker Barney Storey added to his gold medal collection at this years BT Paralympic World Cup.

Barney took the gold in the 1k Time Trial, one of the events that he also took gold in at the Paralympic games in Beijing last summer.

The medal is another in an incredible list of achievements in cycling for Barney; the world’s best sprint tandem pilot.

Barney Storey’s wife Sarah also took gold at the event held in Manchester last week, the second time the couple have each won gold at the same competition, the last time was in Beijing.

The ‘Golden’ couple were each honoured in the New Year Honour’s list; Barney receiving an MBE for his services to disabled sport whilst Sarah received an OBE.
