Social Responsibility

We started this business so we could make a difference, and it’s one of the things that drives us to continued growth and success. Social Responsibility is part of our everyday ethos.

It is about doing the right thing for the right reasons. At Creating Excellence we have taken this a step further, we do not simply look at our social responsibility but our environmental responsibility as well. This has many aspects: from having a commitment to recycling and using public transport wherever possible, to giving our team the best career development opportunities possible. We get a lot from where we are and the people we work with, so it’s important to make sure we give something back to make this sustainable.

What do we do?

Our social responsibility activities include the following:

1. We host our website on a super-low energy server solution.

2. We support and promote active travel to our team and clients.

3. Where possible we operate a full recycling policy.

4. We encourage and make time for our team to engage with and actively participate in our life style fitness programme, Fit For Business. Fit For Business is a powerful response to the cry for creating a healthier UK plc. Fit For business delivers a programme of workplace health and wellbeing services that allows businesses to achieve sustainable, measured and proven results. We engage in the same programme that we deliver out to our client in-house, practicing what we preach.

5. We are committed to offering young local people excellent experiences in respect of work experience and work placements.

6. We work with a select number of preferred charities. And encourage our team to work together to raise money for charities through physical activity, for example in the last year groups of team members have taken part in charity bike rides and the Race For Life.

7. We use controlled systems or evaluations in all our programme management as evidence of our work.

8. We use outside sources to evaluate and approve our systems and are proud that we meet and exceed standards set by these sources.
