Inspirational Speakers

“In July 2007, Scottish Widows, as part of the Lloyds Banking Group, became the Official Pensions and Investment Provider for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.  The appointment of Sarah Storey OBE as Scottish Widows Ambassador for London 2012 was essential to bringing to life the inspirational and motivational attributes associated with our partnership with London 2012 amongst Scottish Widows colleagues and intermediaries.
With the help and expertise of Creating Excellence we were the first London 2012 provider to appoint Ambassadors for London 2012.  Over the last two years, Creating Excellence has been an incredibly reliable and professional source of support in helping us manage Sarah Storey’s personal appearances. Having made the effort to get to know our business, Creating Excellence has also helped us out on a number of occasions with additional motivational speakers for specific events. The Creating Excellence team are an absolute delight to work with!”

Fit For Business

“On Monday 6th February we had planned a wellbeing day at Mid Essex PCT unfortunately the original people due to help were unable to.  Lauren from the Fit for Business team came up with a whole range of different things for work colleagues to try from Indian Head massage to reflexology and supplied a Wii which went down very successfully she pulled this together within a week and I have to congratulate her on her hard work and determination to make the day a success for us and especially with the added chaos of the snow but all the therapists managed to get here and the work colleagues who managed to fight the snow and get in had a great day.
Whenever I have asked for posters, information it has been sent straight away, they always answer the telephone, and the support tools help us to deliver.  The whole support is first class and now I have been asked to lead on the F4B at Mid Essex I am not stressed about it as I know I will get the support I need from the F4B team.”

Cheryle Mack, NHS Mid Essex

“To see the organisation’s change in attitudes over the course of the programme is really rewarding, and it’s great to see the difference in our employee’s wellbeing and general lifestyle.  The programme is now a fully integrated element of our culture, and provides us with a unique opportunity to encourage recruitment and retention, as well as assist us in managing operational issues such as absence and work-related health issues.”
Fiona Temple, Managing Director at OpenContact

“Happy, Healthy and Here! Colchester Borough Council is committed to delivering an excellent standard of customer service and in order to achieve this our employees need to be motivated to come to work and promote our organisational values through their behaviour.  This can all be achieved by investing in employee wellbeing and this has been made possible through the Fit For Business programme and our Big Lottery Funding for the Wellbeing in the East project.”
Louise Denyer, WPC at Colchester Borough Council

“The Council has recently reached ‘Recognition’ status and is very pleased to be the first company to do so in Essex on the Lottery Funded ‘Wellbeing in The East’ project. Councillors and senior management are very supportive of the scheme and the Fit for Business Programme has even been incorporated into the Council’s induction programme offered to all new employees.
I know that we will be putting the FFB Logo on to the Councils headed paper. It will also put the message out that Epping Forest cares for its employees by encouraging them to be fitter and healthier. It will also be written into the Council’s Workforce Development Plan and Common Area Assessment (CAA) and when staff are interviewed for Investors In People hopefully they will say what a positive impact the FFB project has had on them. Also at Corporate level.”

Sporting Champions

“I would just like to say how amazing the scheme is. Susan Lee was outstanding throughout and nothing was too much trouble for her. She understood exactly my requirements and new how much the visit meant to the future of sport at the school. A huge thank you to all of the behind the scenes team.”
Angela O’ Rourke, The Manor Preparatory School

Ramp Programme

“Tim has been excellent working with our client group. Originally he worked with a young man who really needed the help but kept missing appointments, and as frustrating as it was for Tim and myself, Tim never gave up hope of helping the client. Eventually, I decided on behalf of Street League that Tim’s skills could be utilized elsewhere and his relationship with our new client has gone from strength to strength. I am very proud of our involvement in this, as it has helped focus a young man who before was failing to follow his dreams, but is now starting to do so.”
